In november 2022 NPCI introduced a new credit card payment option which allows users to link her credit card on the app and do all payments automatically added to her monthly credit card bills.

CEO Dilip Asbe said credit card payments spending through UPI has reached Rs.10000 crore which means Rs100 & 200 rupees.

According to Asbe, around six banks have begun to provide their clients with the pre-approved credit limits feature on UPI with ICICI Bank leading the way.
